Since the season 2005/2006 Christoph-Matthias Müller has been the chiefconductor and artistic-director of the Göttinger Symphonyorchester.
Christoph-Matthias Müller was born in Switzerland. He studied Violin in Basel and was then studying conducting at the university of Cincinnati, USA. He went as a conducting fellow to Tanglewood, Massachusetts, and worked there with Seiji Ozawa, Robert Spano and Leon Fleisher.
In 1996 he was appointed assistant of Vladimir Ashkenazy at the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchestra Berlin. From 2001 to 2005 Christoph-Matthias Müller was the assistant of Claudio Abbados at the Gustav-Mahler-Jugendorchester. He has been working very closely together with conductors like Mariss Jansons, Franz Welser-Möst and Ivan Fischer.
In 2000 Christoph-Matthias Müller won the International Conducting competition in Cadaques, Spain. In 2004/2005 he was the artistic director of the Kairo Symphonie Orchestra and was giving guest concerts in Stavanger, with the BBC Welsh National Synphony Orchestra etc. Christoph-Matthias Müller was many times guest conductor at the Opera National Strasburg. In 2006 he conducted upon the invitation of Mikahil Peltenv in Moscow the Russian National Orchestra.

Bassoon
Gilbert Audin is the Bassoon-soloist at the Orchestra du Théatre National de l’Opéra de Paris and teaches in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris; this ambassador of the French bassoon and of its prestigious school is wanted all over the world for masterclasses and International Academies.
He is also Bassoon consultant/tester for Buffet Crampon and is contributing to the development of the instruments.
Gilbert Audin made his musical studies in Nimes, then he studied in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the class of Maurice Allard. He won with 19 the International competition of Geneva and Munich and its consecration was to win uanimously with 24 the first price of the International competition of Geneva and 2 years later unanimously the first price of international competition of Toulon.
He has been performing as soloist all around the world and was a partner to Jean-Pierre Rampal, Francois-René Duchable, Paul Meyer, Maurice André, Michel Arrignon and ….
His discs include Joseph Haydn, concertos of Jean Francaix and Marcel Landowski (Sony, RCA) Rossinis quartets, concertos and symphonies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and all chamber music of Francois Poulenc (RCA Red Seal).

Saxophone
Daniel Gauthier studied in Canada and France. After first prizes in saxophone at the Montreal Conservatory and Bordeaux Conservatory, he earned a doctoral degree in interpretation at the University of Montreal.
At the age of twenty-four Gauthier became the first saxophonist to win the Grand Prize in the International Stepping Stone of the Canadian Music Competition. In addition, he was a prizewinner at the Ancona International Music Competition in Italy and received scholarships from the Canadian Art Council and Quebec Ministry of Culture.
Gauthier has performed in Canada’s major cities as well as in Washington (D.C.), Newport, Tokyo, Osaka, Buenos Aires, Paris, Munich, Berlin, Verona, Istanbul, Athen, Ljubljana, Istanbul, Amsterdam and Salzburg.
Gauthier is active in the fields of traditional and contemporary music. He has premiered a number of compositions and collaborated with a lot of composers like Franco Donatoni and Hans-Joachim Hespos. He presented master classes in almost all European countries and also served as a jury member on all most important saxophone competitions.
In 1997 he was appointed to a professorship Detmold Academy of Music. In 2003 he moved to the Cologne Academy of Music. Since 2000 Gauthier has been a member of the International Saxophone Committee. He received two times the famous German CD Award "ECHO klassik", with the Alliage Quartett in 2005 ("Una voca poco fa") and as soloist in 2006 ("Spirito latino"). He appeared several times on different European TV net works.

Bassoon
Dag Jensen was born in Horton, Norway, and began bassoon lessons at the age of 11 with Robert Rönnes. He was principal bassoonist at the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra from 1985 to 1988 and held the same position at the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1988 to 1997.
Dag Jensen won the 1st prize at the Norwegian Youth Music Competition and twice won the Coveted ARD Music Competition in Munich in 1984 and 1990.
His numerous solo appearances with renowned orchestras has taken him throughout Europe, the United States and Japan. 2003 he was principal bassoonist in the newly founded Lucern festival orchestra under Claudio Abbado. Seiji Ozawa asked him to join the Saito Kinen Festival Orchestra as principal bassoonist.
Chamber music plays an important part in his musical life and he his a member of the Sabine Meyer Wind Ensemble and the Ensemble Villa Musica and is a regular guest at several music festivals national and international.
His artistic career is well documented on CD. Dag Jensen has been professor at the Hannover Academy of Music and Theatre since 1997. Many of his students have won prizes of national and international music competitions.

Saxophone
Otis Murhy is one of the most outstanding international soloists in classical saxophone.
Otis Murhy is currently associate professor of music (saxophone) in the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He holds a doctor of music and master of music degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In addition he pursued advanced studies in France. He saxophone teachers include Jean-Yves Fourmeau Eugene Rousseau and Kenneth Fischer.
He is the winner of numerous national and international awards including prizes in the Adolphe Sax international saxophone competiton in Belgium, the Jean-Marie Londeix, International Saxophone competition in France and the Heida Hermanns International Wood Wind Competition in the United States.
Otis Murphy is in great demand as an international soloist having appeared in some 14 countries worldwide.

Oboe
Alexei Ogrintchouk is one of the most outstanding oboist performing today. A graduate of the Gnessin-School of music and the Paris conservatoire where he studied with Maurice Bourgue, Jacques Tys and Jean-Louis Capezzali. He combines astounding technique with the virtuosity and lyricism.
Originally from Moscow, Alexei was already performing all over Russia, Europe and Japan from the age of 13. He is the winner of a number of international competitions including the prestigious CIEM International competition in Geneva at the age of 19. He was also the winner of the European Juventus Price in 1999. He has been a part of the prestigious rising stars and BBC New Generation Artist programmes.
Since August 2005 Alexei Ogrintchouk has been first soloist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam. Until then he held the same post at the Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra with Valerie Gergijew. A position which he secured at the age of 20.
As a charismatic and technical brilliant soloist he has performed concertos under the baton of conductors such as Mariss Jansons, Sergei Ossava, Kent Nagano, Daniel Harding, Andres Nelsons etc. Since 2001 Alexei Ogrintchouk is visiting Professor the Royal Academy of Music in London and Professor at the Musikene in San Sebastian. He is giving worldwide masterclasses for Oboe.

Oboe
Since 2007 Christian Wetzel is Professor for Oboe at the University of Music in Cologne. In addition to teaching as a professor he tours as soloist and member of chamber music groups giving concerts at re-known festivals such as the "Rheingau Music Festival" the Festival "Spannungen" in Heimbach and the "Beethoven Festival" in Warschau.
As oboist he is a founding member of the re-known "Ma’a lot brass-quintett" which has been awarded numerous prizes at various international competitions amongst others ARD in Munich. The essemble performs since more than 20 years at home and abroad worldwide and has won a number of important prizes for its recordings.
During his studies with Ingo Goritzki at the Music University in Hannover Christian Wetzel had been granted as colorship of "Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes" and has played in the European Community Youth Orchestra under Claudio Abbado.
After finishing his studies he was solo oboist at the National Theatre Orchestra in Mannheim. From 1997 until 2007 he was fulltime Professor for Oboe at the University of Music and Theatre (Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy) in Leipzig.
Christian Wetzel is giving numerous masterclasses worldwide and is Guest Professor at the re-known Music Universities such the Royal Academy of Music in London or the Music University Vienna where he is teaching young musicians.

Raimund Wippermann studied music teaching, sacred music and choirmaster at the University of Music in Cologne and Duesseldorf. Postgraduate studies at the conservatory in Stockholm followed (amongst others with Professor Eric Ericson); several years’ engagement as church musician; 1991 appointment as Director of Music at the dome in Essen where he was entrusted with the direction of the dome choir and the formation of the girls’ choir.
Since 1997 is Raimund Wippermann professor for choir conducting at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf where he already started as a teacher in 1990. A special emphasis of his work as professor is the choir master teaching of students of sacred music.
Since August 2004 he has been the director of the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf.
Raimund Wippermann is the founder and artistic director of the chamber choir Cantemus. From1995 until September 2000 he was also choir master of the Städtischer Musikverein in Düsseldorf.
He has been a prize winner of the German choir competition with his chamber choir Cantemus in 1990 in Stuttgart and the first price in the 8th German choir competition 2010 with his girl choir of the Dome in Essen.
He is a regular guest conductor of the radio choir of the Bayerischer Rundfunk.
